Marathon runners to raise funds for Primary Peritoneal Cancer Foundation in October 2009 in honor of their mom Melinda Jasey
Sisters Yasmeen Jasey, Najette Jasey and Mary Burney along with Mary’s husband Ryan Burney are pleased to announce their own ‘Run for the Cure’ on October 18, 2009 in honor of their mom, Melinda Jasey, who was diagnosed with Primary Peritoneal Cancer (PPC) in December, 2008.
The foursome will be running in the Detroit Free Press/Flagstar Marathon - which starts in downtown Detroit, goes over the Ambassador Bridge into Windsor, Canada and back to Detroit through the Detroit/Windsor tunnel.
Supporters of the Jasey running team can conveniently make Donations Online which are then contributed to the Martha C. Kinnecom Peritoneal Cancer Foundation, Inc., the largest 501c3 non-profit organization in the world dedicated to fighting PPC.
